Machinery eye bolts are high strength bolts for heavy duty applications. Eye bolts provide a method for anchoring chain and wire rope to a fixed surface such as wood, metal, concrete, etc. Forged steel material is extra strong and recommended for industrial lifting & heavy duty rigging applications. Safe working load = 1,300 lbs. Hex lock nuts are not included.

Electro-deposition Zinc plating is a plating that is applied electrically to eyebolts that prevents oxidation of steel by forming a protective barrier. According to ASTM A489, the zinc plating shall be a minimum thickness of .0002 inch (5 m) on all significant surfaces. We meet and exceed ASTM A489 & F1941 for corrosion resistance.

The chromate is Blue-Bright (transparent with a goldish tinge and slight iridescence).
