Hexes are replced with water hexes if they gain three craters from 'blast' attacks. Any worm miniature can use any weapon. Teams are marked with colored base-rings. Each player has a hand of cards of available . You can add to your hand from the Supply Deck by collecting crates. The Drop Deck determines what objects are added to the map each turn. Injured worms are laid on their side. If hit once more before they can heal  they are eliminated from play. A randomly selected Sudden Death card is waiting at the bottom of the Drop Deck in case a stalemate develops. This will add a new condition to gameplay that speeds players towards a dramatic finish!
