These are great models for boys ages 12-14, building kits for boys 12-15 year olds and engineering kits for boys 12-15 years old, adults, older teens 16-18, and extremely advanced younger kids. If you struggle finding a building project that will challenge your older builders, or even for yourself, well here you go. But, this is not just for older kids. Building kits for kids ages 8-12 come in all shapes and sizes so we worked really hard to ensure the assembly instructions are very detailed. It will require some adult supervision for the younger builders and some patience for the actual builder! We also noticed that there are a lot of different kids toys for boys and girls out there, but some of the assembly instructions are difficult to follow so we really focused on making those easier to follow. However, this is still a very challenging building kit so please don't expect your younger builder to be able to do all of the steps on their own.
