Kay Bojesen is one of the most famous Danish designs and his famous craftsmanship is highly sought after. Only in the 1930s, the designer discovered his passion for wood. Until 1957, he designed his popular wooden animals. The designs are placed in the unique border between the fantasy figure and the design object. In the design of Kay Bojes, both form and object, as well as comics and games blends into one device. At the same time, buoys had the unique ability to bring wood to life, which turned their pieces into international design cones. Kay Bojesen died at the age of 72. Its products are manufactured today by Rosendahl in close collaboration with the Bojesen family.
