Numbered 61/125 in the 2026 Matchbox mainline, this 1:64 scale die-cast model features a black side stripe with Mustang emblem, dark interior, classic fastback roofline, round headlights, black grille and period-inspired wheels.
The MB1596 casting first appeared in 2025 and captures the long hood, short rear deck and sloping fastback profile associated with the 1968 Mustang. This 2026 metallic gold variation gives the casting a distinctly classic presentation while retaining the clean proportions and restrained detailing of the MBX Showroom series.
