Mountains of Fun. No Lift line needed.
Choose mountains, build trails, strategize to win. Compete with your friends to become the Trail Master of your mountain as you flip, stack and score the most points for your trails.
Objective: Each player will build 4 trails in front of them; one for each of the suits. Each time you play a card, you can only place it on your trail if it is a card of higher value*.
How to Play:
- Game play starts with a player flipping a card and deciding if they want to keep it for one of their trails or place it on an opponent's trail. If there is no card on a trail yet, then this is your starting base for that trail. (We say let the worst skier in your group start first).
- Players will then take turns in a clockwise manner flipping a card and placing it on their trail or an opponent's trail.
- You can only place cards of the same suit on top of each other. (think cascading trails like Solitaire)
- You can only place a card on top of another card if it is higher in value than the card already on the trail. (2s are the lowest and Aces are highest)
- * If you draw a card that is not higher than any opponent's cards, you can keep that card and now your trail's highest value is reset to that card. (If you have a 3 of blue square, and it's lower than all other players blue squares, then you get to keep it and your top trail card is now reset to 3).
- Build the longest trails you can as each card counts as a point and the player who reaches the top of the mountain (in points) first wins!
- Use strategy by giving away higher cards to opponents so they are blocked from being able to build their trails.
- Once all the cards are played, add up the number of cards you have on your mountain - 1 pt for each card.
- One player flips a Conditions Update Card at the end of the round and see if there are any updates to your scores!

The game itself is a blast once you get going, but the rulebook could be better organized. We had to watch a tutorial video to get started. Still great though.
Love the game concept and it's genuinely fun, but some of the plastic pieces feel a bit flimsy. Hope they hold up over time. Overall still enjoying it.
Love the depth of this game. It's easy to pick up but has a lot of strategic complexity. We've played it many times and it stays fresh.
Incredibly fun and well-designed. The rules are clear, the components are high quality, and every game feels different. Can't put it down.
