This version features blue and white racing stripes across the hood, roof, and body, a number 72 graphic on the hood, Summit Racing Equipment graphics along the sides, Chevrolet detailing, and a prominent exposed engine rising through the hood. The lowered stance, open sunroof, chrome 5-spoke wheels, aqua-tinted windows, chrome/silver interior, and contrasting white lower body and base give the truck a distinctive custom drag-racing appearance.
The Custom '72 Chevy LUV casting first joined the Hot Wheels lineup in 2016. Designed by Ryu Asada, the casting transforms the Chevrolet LUV into a modified V8-powered pickup with a lowered profile and exposed-engine treatment.
