Its removable calvarium is attached using magnets and small pegs allowing for easy removal and sereplacement. This medical anatomical skull has a realistic bone texture and color with clear sutures allowing precise identification of the individual skull bones with all foramen and fossa present. The articular disk of the temporomandibular joints is also displayed carefully cradling the mandibular condyle and allowing for the smooth articulation of the jaw. The permanent teeth as well as an impacted wisdom tooth are included for study. Even the texture of the palatine bones is clearly visible making this a truly deluxe skull model. Measures 8 x 7 x 5 inches. Weighs approximately 2 lb.
