With its improved 12-slot design, the 1717 delivers exceptional efficiency, generates less heat than comparable motors, and produces serious torque - making it the perfect upgrade for 1/6 scale vehicles up to 20 lbs and high-power 1/8 scale rigs.
Castle's QuietSense technology shields the sensors from magnetic field noise, while the Flux Shield and secondary sense magnets deliver high-precision, efficient sensored startups. Optimized sensor alignment eliminates the need for mechanical timing adjustments, providing uniform timing and torque in both directions automatically.
High-strength Kevlar-wrapped neodymium magnets, oversized NMB bearings with vibration dampening, and proprietary low-resistance windings combine to create one of the most efficient, durable high-power motors in the Castle lineup.
