The Hear See and Speak No Evil Monk Set Of 3 Black Earthy Finish 16.5 Inches tall is a new twist to the proverb hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil often thought to originate from the Bible and expressing the meaning of doing good not Evil. However, The origin can be traced much farther back to the 8th century and originated in China coming from Confuciuss Code of Conduct. So whats more fitting then to use our playful Monks to replace the more modernized version of Monkeys which only dates to the 17th Century. The sculptures are individually hand cast and hand finished in a durable fiberglass and cast stone reinforced material. The Black Earthy Finish is durable and offers an authentic antique quality and richness to this adorable creation. Monks are highly respected and often loved for the strengths of their beliefs and the sacrifices made for religious reasons and live cleaner simpler lives. The sculpture is suitable for Outdoor or Indoor use. The set of 3 arrives completely assembled.
