Description
Description
Sensu is a refined and strategic card game centered on the elegant art of Japanese folding fans. Players compete to collect and combine fan cards in their hand, carefully crafting sets that total exactly 15. When a perfect combination is achieved, those cards can be redeemed and gradually assembled into personal fans. The first player to complete three fans claims victorybut reaching that goal requires precision, patience, and sharp tactical awareness. At its heart, Sensu is a game of timing and hand management. Every draw, discard, and play shapes the flow of the table. Do you hold out for the ideal combination, or redeem early to block an opponent? The tension builds as hands shift and opportunities appear and vanish in a single turn. The 2025 edition expands the experience with an Advanced Game mode, introducing Power Tokens, Power Bonus Markers, and Great Fans. These additions deepen strategic options, create new scoring paths, and reward longterm planning. The result is a highly replayable card game that scales from accessible family play to a richer tactical challenge for seasoned gamers.Sensu also includes dedicated solo rules, offering a satisfying puzzlelike experience for individual players seeking thoughtful gameplay. This updated edition builds upon the original awardwinning design recognized in the 2023 Gioco Inedito contest, enhancing the system with expanded rules and content not found in the earlier limited release. Whether played casually or competitively, Sensu delivers an elegant blend of simplicity and strategy.
