The Team Associated RC8B4.1 Team Kit continues the legacy of the 2022 IFMAR World Champion-winning RC8B4 with comprehensive updates for improved handling on un-groomed outdoor tracks. Team Associated engineers focused on lowering the center of gravity, reducing weight, and enhancing performance through a new RWB (Rear Weight Bias) chassis design with a stiffer tapered profile for predictable high-speed handling while allowing a softer overall shock package.
The suspension has been completely overhauled with new low-CG aluminum shock towers and shorter 16mm shocks, along with new 3-hole rear suspension arms that allow softer shock and spring combinations while maintaining support through fast turns. The new wide-base rear hubs with 3mm carbon fiber hub towers provide extensive geometry options, while 92mm universal joints, 44/13 bevel gears, and a 47T spur gear deliver maximum grip and smooth power delivery on challenging outdoor surfaces.
