Overview
The Team Associated RC8B4.1e Team Kit represents the next evolution of championship 1/8 scale electric buggy racing. Team Associated engineers designed this platform to lower the center of gravity, reduce weight, and dramatically improve handling on un-groomed outdoor tracks. At the heart of this revolutionary buggy is the new RWB/FWB adjustable weight bias chassis design, allowing drivers to optimize their setup for either rear weight bias (more traction) or front weight bias (more steering).
The suspension has been completely overhauled with new low-CG aluminum shock towers and shorter 16mm shocks for reduced weight and lower center of gravity. New 3-hole rear suspension arms with updated anti-roll bar geometry work perfectly on both smooth and bumpy tracks. The new wide-base rear hubs with 3mm carbon fiber hub towers provide multiple geometry options. Combined with 92mm universal joints, 44/13 bevel gears, and a 46T molded spur gear, this buggy delivers maximum grip and smooth power delivery.
