The city of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh in India has been making locks for centuries. Many of the best locksmiths have a tradition of making trick locks to amuse and impress their friends. We bring to you a selection of our favorites. This lock appears to be an oversized, basic padlock. But it's not. You must figure out the secret to get it to open. We do not include the solution - but if you need help you can contact us via our shopretroworks website. These locks traveled from India to our shop in Phoenix, and then to you. They are very heavy, and the boxes they come in show the wear and tear from their journey around the world. This is unavoidable, so please just consider the box protection for the lock they contain.
