This chess mat meets the World Chess Federation's (FIDE) and the US Chess Federation (USCF) proportions standards for tournament play. The board measures 20 inches (50.8 cm) with 2.25 inch squares (5.715 cm) 0.06 inch thickness (1.52 mm). Complete with algebraic notation on the perimeter of the squares to simplify lessons and study past games. Perfect for any chess club park game school or tournament games. The board squares will fit chessmen with 1.75 to 2 inch diameter base.
